| Descrizione / Attività / Curriculum Classico Born in Brescia, she trained at La Scala, Milan. She joined The Royal Ballet in 1992, promoted to Principal, 2003. Her repertory includes Juliet, Lise, Firebird, Gamzatti, Sugar Plum Fairy, Tatiana, Mathilde Kschessinska, Mary Vetsera and Marie Larisch, Giselle and Myrtha, Calliope, Manon and Lescaut’s Mistress, Anastasia, Columbine, blue girl (Les Patineurs) and roles in Rite of Spring, La Ronde, Agon, Thaïs pas de deux, Song of the Earth, Fearful Symmetries, Concerto, Judas Tree, Danses concertantes, Las Hermanas, My Brother, My Sisters, Voluntaries, Symphony in C, La Fin du jour, Jewels, Chroma, Serenade, DGV: Danse à grande vitesse, Elite Syncopations and Sensorium. She created roles in Infra and Limen and in The Tsarina’s Slippers and Acis and Galatea (Royal Opera). She has also danced with Scottish Ballet, Stuttgart Ballet and Rome Ballet. She has her own charity foundation, Dancing for the Children, in London. She was awarded the Positano Prize, 2008, and a Cavaliere del Lavoro |
