Descrizione / Attività / Curriculum Preparazione Tecnica & Musicale di Danza Orientale & Folklore Arabo. Carola began studying dance in Turin, where she soon met Master Teacher Yousry Sharif, who led her to the discovery of a quite special use of Arabic music. This encounter was decisive in her falling in love with Oriental Dance, especially with Mr. Sharif’s intense and intriguing style. Back to Italy she enhance her training studying Contemporary Dance at "Teatro Nuovo Torino" getting a Diploma as Professional Dancer by the Italian Department of Culture. She performedfor more than three years for RGD Contemporary Dance Company, directed from the Choreographer of the same "Teatro Nuovo Torino". She could later complete her training in Arabic Dance and Music with Narjess Montasser, obtaining a Diploma as “Professional Dancer & Oriental Dance Teacher”. Her versatility and ability to faithfully represent folk dances were soon noticed, and Carola joined Narjess Montasser’s Troupe, while performing as solo dancer, for more than three years. In 2010 she met choreographer Nawal Benabdallah (Morocco/France), and occasionally worked with her Company for their productions in Italy and abroad. (E.U., Africa) These Dance Troupe experiences were crucial for her training. Her artistic qualities won her the opportunity as solo dancer. In 2013 Carola left for New York to attend one month of Daily Regular Classes and the Intensive Training Course of Mr. Yousry Sharif, constant point of reference and source of inspiration. She attended masterclasses with greatest choreographers and musicians looking for technique and personal style. (Masterclasses with: Mme Farida Fahmy, Mohamed Kazafy, Aida Nour, Wael Mansour, Elias Lammam (accordeon), Hossam Shaker (Qanoun) Fernando Depiaggi (nay & drums). In 2014 The Dancer Jaida invited her to teach at "Bellydance America" New York. Nowadays Carola teaches monthly courses in Torino (Italy) and performs in Italy and abroad. Her Dance is Fresh and Strong at the same time, rich in Style and Personality.
